2 hours lecture, 1 hour recitation, 1.5 hours laboratory; 3 creditsIntroduction to mechanics with more introductory material than is covered in Physics *1100 [1]. Physics *1111 [1.1] and *1112 [1.2] constitute a two-term sequence intended for students who are not prepared for Physics *1100 [1]. (Not open to students who are enrolled in or have completed Physics 0.7 or 1100 [1] or 1150 [1.5].)Prerequisite: a grade of C or higher in Mathematics *1011 [2.9] or 1026 [2.92] or Mathematics 1201 [3.3]; or placement in Mathematics *1201 [3.3] on the basis of the calculus placement test.
