3 hours lecture; 3 hours laboratory; 4.5 creditsIntroduction to the form and function of the human body. Exploration and development of an understanding of blood, heart, blood vessels, respiratory system, digestive system, metabolism, urinary system, fluid & electrolyte balance, reproductive system, immune system and development. This course is the same as Biology 1502, Health and Nutrition Sciences 2303, and Kinesiology 3285. STEM variant course - Satisfies Pathways Required Core Life and Physical Sciences.Prerequisites: One of the following: Anthropology and Archaeology 3265, Biology 1501, Physical Education and Exercise Science 3281/Kinesiology 3281, or Health and Nutrition Sciences 2302.
