Student Learning Outcomes

1. Graduates will be able to describe how processes operating at and beneath the Earth’s surface create the Earth’s landscape and materials

2. Graduates will be able to describe how processes operating at and beneath the Earth’s surface affect, and are effected by, human activities

3. Graduates will be able to provide example as to how physics, chemistry, biology, and mathematics are applied to the study of Earth

4. Graduates will be able to conceptualize the Earth and environment as a set of connected systems

5. Graduates will be able to analyze and interpret 3D features/structures

6. Graduates will be able to communicate effectively to a variety of audiences in a variety of formats
