2 hours lecture, 2 hours laboratory; 3 creditsStudy of animal remains from archaeological sites, methods of recovery, identification, and analysis. Special emphasis placed on natural and social environments, formation processes, subsistence strategies and paleoenvironments. Prerequisite: one of the following: Anthropology 1200 or 1400 or 3240 or permission of the chairperson.
