Independent Research in Finance

3 Credits 1 contact hour plus 6 hours of field work/survey/laboratory This course is intended for the completion of independent research supervised by a faculty member. Students must identify a faculty mentor and gain permission by the department to register for the course. There is a minimum of 9 conference hours and independent work. Upon completion students will have developed research design skills, improved written communication and expertise in a current financial topic. Prerequisite: FINC 3330; an overall GPA of at least 3.0 and departmental permission.
