Adjustment of the epic tradition todiffering cultural values through a continual process of translation,imitation, adaptation, and transformation of epic form and contentwhich has led to expressions of the modern "epic vision." This course isthe same as English 3181 [50.7]. (Not open to students who havecompleted Comparative Literature 55.)Prerequisite: English 1010 [1] or 1.7.
